cpu usage graphing
Right now I have the normal graphs for cpu usage - showing nice, user, system and total graphs on one chart. This is showing on a 4 cpu processor, so it just totals up the sum from all 4 processors. I'd like to know if there's a way to poll each processor individually and then show the individual to...

RRD files
Is there any way to append RRD files that are based off the same host, but different times? We had monitoring up on some machines, but a developer accidentally deleted the database from mysql. However, the RRD files were left untouched and I backed them up. Now that I think on it, I could have feasi...

I just noticed that my program will work for every graph. But you have to enter the critical values manually. So if you have 30 CPU graphs this mean setting 30 times the critical value to 80% (if they all should be considered critical at 80 % off course) For ping and bandwidth you can set all devic...

Can't log in!!!
UPDATE So here's the issue now: Cacti was reinstalled by one of the developers here at work - he wasn't able to login (since we changed the password) lol. He wasn't aware that we already started monitoring. Anyhow, I'm in /var/www/html/cacti/rra and all of the machines we've setup are there. *.rrd T...

Re: It's a hack, but it works
Ah, thanks That worked!irishpadres wrote:The graphs are ordered alphabetically by template name, so the only way I have found to do is to append numbers to the front of the template name, so they are ordered the way I want.

use the arrows in Mangement/Graph Trees Are you sure you looked around seriously ?!! Hehe, I looked that much at least :p What that does is change the order of each tree item on the graph tree... What I want to change is the order for each graph template in the specific tree items - does tha...

Changing graph order?
How would I change the order in which the graphs are displayed? Currently, (in tree directory view) All of my hosts display the graphs in the same manner: Host MIB - Available Disk Space Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) ucd/net - CPU Usage ucd/net - Load Average ucd/net - Memory Usage I'd like the dis...

memory usage on linux machines with 4+GB RAM
I can get memory usage monitoring to work on machines with smaller amounts of RAM (512MB) - however, with machines that have large amounts of RAM, the monitoring is not working. Is there a setting that must be set for monitoring to work, or is snmp not capable of supporting this? Any help is much ap...
