also tried a new install of cacti. Cant see any debug error messages or php errors. Used to rely on thold to tell me when websites got hacked and were punting out junk mail. Attached is a screenshot. The value is showing up ok.

hi, Not sure at what stage it decided to stop working but basically I have cacti0.8.8h with the thold 0.6.1 plugin enabled. thats done the trick for the Host drop down

However you can still see the custom templates in the Graph Template drop down but its alot less than it was and that doesnt really cause any issues.
