Advanced user right management

Is it possible to expand the user rights management to folders in the console ? I enjoy the system of trees in graph, especially the hierarchy it involves. Is it possible to expand it to the console so we create a hierarchy of devices through UO-like (or folder) and fine tune user rights on those su...

Another update, I just installed another cacti, and same thing happens.

Once again cacti 0.8.7a, php 5.2.5, rrdtool 1.2.23, snmp 5.4.1.

Maybe I can try to reverse 1 of my cacti back to 0.8.6j, is it safe ?

In fact there's nothing else to do but waiting for a while.

I try with firefox (hung) and in the meantime with IExplore (hung). I could try with Opera and other, but I guess the result will be the same.

Can I activate some sorts of debug tools in Cacti (except the poller) ?

Just an update on the topic, I currently experience once again a timeout on cacti URL. But as I look for error in apache access log, there are none (not even an access with 301 error) !! It looks like my browser doesn't request for pages. But as soon as I stop the request and claim for another URL i...

The missing "/" is due to the URL I setup in my bookmark. Previously I point to "http://server/cacti", and to avoid any path problem I reconfigured it to "http://server/cacti/index.php". Stripping back the "/index.php" in my bookmark, I get those logs : 55.87....

I just identify a new issue in access_log of apache2.

When the web site is hung, I get this :

Code: Select all

/cacti HTTP/1.1" 301 298
When the web site is OK, I get this :

Code: Select all

/cacti/ HTTP/1.1" 200 1463
I didn't find any article in google related to such codes ? Maybe you got any idea ?

Using cacti 0.8.7a, I do have the same problems. I figured it out using the following method : Continue using the script "ss_fping.php" bundled in the 0.8.7a release Add the script "ping.php" to the cacti/lib directory If you do "ICMP" ping, launch the poller with root ...

CACTI to monitor FC adapters

Hi there,

I'm quite new to CACTI  , but I'm wondering if CACTI can take some statistics of fiber channel adapters from monitored servers.

I take a tour of the forum, but don't found anything related to this.

Thanx.
