I found the fix, change SNMP ping to regular ping (system ping).

Hi,

i have the same issue and I noticed the extra \, I dropped the database, but that did not fix anything. Any ideas, my poller keeps hanging waiting 1/1 etc.....

I am having the same issue; however, when installing an earlier version of Cacti (d) it does not hang at all, but I do need version (j) to run, so please let me know if you figured out how to fix the hang issue.
