Patching and checking with the GW folks
To clarify, I'm not looking to integrate the two. Just get them to coexist on the same box, taking advantage of any commonality (i.e. Cacti using the RRDTOOL already installed gy GWMCE). Groundworks, in their latest release of the Community Edition of the product, literally bundles everything...Apac...

Cacti and Groundworks Monitor CE 5.3 - no Graphs
After much hate and discontent (and the need to recompile PHP to support sockets), I followed the following forum thread over at the Groundworks Community Support Forums and managed to get Cacti running on the same host as GWMCE 5.3: http://www.groundworkopensource.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php...

Me too
I'm in this same boat. We have four Call Managers and three Gateways with at least one PRI each. Looking for a solution to graph PRI usage over time. Seems Cacti would be the ideal solution.
If anyone out there has a solution for the Linux based CM (5.x), we'd sure like some feedback...

Linux CCM
I know this thread is a bit dated, but thought I'd throw this out there. Anyone get this working with the Linux based CCM (version 5.x)? And if yes, can you provide some details? My Cacti install is running on a Suse Enterprise Linux Host. I'd like to query my Call Managers for PRI usage (or my Gate...

Cisco 3825 MGCP Voice Gateway - Monitor Channel Capacity
I've been searching near and far, through all the forums, and not had luck with any of the Device and/or Graph templates I've attempted to use. We're still in Cacti 0.86j (haven't been willing to upgrade just yet for fear of breaking the plugin architecture and all the plugins we use). So what I'm l...

Thanks!!!!
Thanks Gandalf. Sounds like a weekend project to tackle. Database always worries me as I've not touched it since initially setting things up about the middle of last year. Appreciate the step-by-step. Fortunately, the linux OS that I'm running all of this under is actually on one of my VMware ESX se...

Upgrade path to 0.8.7a that doesn't break anything
Hello... We're still sitting here at Cacti 0.8.6j because of the fear of what might happen to the existing plug-in architecture and all of our plugins if we attempt to upgrade to 0.8.7a. Right now, all of our plugins work. These include: - php weathermap - Thold - Monitor Plugin - Superlinks But fro...

Thanks
Hmm, didn't look at it that way. Expected a migration to 0.8.7a through moving data and not the application itself would be cleaner. I'll have to see if I can make this work. If my suspicions turn out that many of my plugins won't work unless modified tor 0.8.7, I may end up sticking with 0.8.6j for...

Migrate from 0.8.6j to 0.8.7a - New Hardware and OS
It's been a learning experience with a number of challenges maintaining my Cacti installation. I started at 0.8.6h if I recall, made it to 0.8.6j without too much hair loss. Needless to say, my Linux administration skills have improved (I'm no longer just a network manager). So, here's the deal. Loo...

Any ideas how to make this work with SecurePlatform
We're still on NG 50 and the OS is Checkpoints SecurePlatform. Anyone know how to enable SNMP on this hardened Linux Distro?

Still need Smokeping in the back end?
Appreciate the info. I guess the question then is if I use the Advanced Ping Template, one can assume that Smokeping still needs to be installed somehow on the back end? And if this is the case, is Smokeping able to happily reside alongside Cacti using the already installed RRDTOOL? Thanks a bunch f...

Smokeping
I've searched and come across bits and pieces of information regarding Smokeping and Cacti (reference to using a template to display smokeping rrd graphs in Cacti). Has anyone done a step-by-step guide on installing Smokeping on a host that already has Cacti\RRDTOOL installed? Are there any gotcha's...

No clue
Hmm, this is distressing. Now I'm seeing the same issue in Internet Explorer. I'm logged in as Admin, which has never had a problem with the rollover graphs before unless I remained inactive for a lengthy period of time. Now I'm not getting the graphs when I rollover the devices or the links in IE e...
