I took the same install file and ran it on a server that does not have Cacti installed before and everything went fine. Cacti came up without any problem. Re: Windows Installer [v1.95 - 2010-09-23]

I ran into this persistent problem on a machine that previously had Cacti 8.7d installed. Here is the error I found in the Cact...

[solved] .8.7g failed to create Cacti database

I tried to install Cacti-0.8.7g_1.95.exe on a server that previously had Cacti 0.8.7d installed. I uninstalled the old MySQL from the Add/Remove program and removed MySQL directory as well as the "cacti" directory under inetpub\wwwroot. Then proceeded to install 0.8.7g, the install ran fin...

cycle through Cacti pages on big screen

We have a couple of backbone traffic graphs that would be nice to display on our NOC big screen LCD monitor but would like to display them one at a time. Anybody know of a way to display individual graph on a web page say 10 seconds at a time, sort of displaying a slide show. Thanks.

I did not import the pa.sql script from the PA zip file as the instructions missed that step. I'm now seeing the thold tab as expected.

My goal is to get the weather-map plugin up and running, any suggestion on which version of weathermap that would work with my Cacti .8.7d? Thanks.
