Cacti requires use of it's own adodb that's packaged with cacti. We are currently not able to support the debian way. You may want to use the code provided by the cacti tar.gz

hi reinhard, sorry for my very late answer - you know how busy times can be. now something funny happened. As I said (did I) I simply copied the files with a shell script to the other directory. First cacti was looking in /var/lib/cacti/rra. Before the system looked in /usr/share/cacti/site/rra. Now...

path to rra
hi, quick one (I guess): where can I change the path to rra? I just installed plugin-arch and finally cacti is running again (sad, but I am trying this since 2 months...). Now I have one problem left: it seems with the new installation the path to rra was changed. I have the files in /usr/share/cact...

Hi Reinhard, many many thanks for your hints. I see the point why the data is the same, but I actually dont get around to tell cacti to use def a for the first GPRINT. I tried several ways to do this in the graph template, but no success. Regardless what I do, it always takes b for both gprints. I a...

GPRINTS differ from graph [solved]
Hi community, I am stucked again... I created a graph showing the dsp-usage in our net. The "funny" part is that the graph seems to have correct values, where the GPRINTS tell really wrong things -- except the "last" value which seems to be correct. I cannot see the reason why th...

I think this is more my problem: Errors were encountered while processing: rancid-core rancid-util rancid-cgi vsftpd E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) because I commented out all the lines in ado.inc which it was complaining about and then it said, php5 would not be instal...

I commented the call to the function out in each file, cacti was complaining. of course it didn't help. But i...
