Re: [INFO] What is this 'm' or 'u' after my numbers in graph
I am using exact numbers right now. It appears to be the same result. Edit: I just added the exponent to zero. It seems to have done the trick. http://www.weinraub.net/images/precip3.png However, doing the same trick, won't work for this graph: http://www.weinraub.net/images/pressure.png It doesn't ...

Re: [INFO] What is this 'm' or 'u' after my numbers in graph
I know this was published quite some time ago, but I am still getting the suffix and load average already has %8.2lf . In here: http://www.weinraub.net/images/precip.png It seems to only happen with 0.x mm. Once it gets above 1.0 mm, it is fine, e.g.: http://www.weinraub.net/images/precip2.png Any i...

Weather showing incorrect results
I have two problems. I like to show negative numbers for temperatures, but i only want to show the negatives on the y-axis if it needs to, so if i make the minimum -50 i dont want it to be displayed if it isn't needed. other wise the graphs look awkward with a -50 to 50 C range. http://www.weinraub....

lm_sensors temperature not working on debian
I am trying to graph my thermal sensor. I don't get much with sensors, but thankfully just the CPU core does show up. However, I am unable to get it to graph/show anything useful.. Any advice in getting this to work is greatly appreciated as I am sure I am missing something obvious (I hope): root@we...

Re: Multiple graphs from one data source
since it is now over a year on this thread, is there any updates? i got one datasource with multiuple stuff, but because the data is not all in the same unit, so i want to make separate graphs for each unit type (weather in my case, so degrees C, km/h, mm, kPa, etc)

Graph formatting questions
While I am not all that new to Cacti, I am when it comes to making it look special. http://www.weinraub.net/images/cacti_temperatures.png This is my weather graph. I like to know why the text isn't aligned properly. I also like to know how I can add °C symbol. These are my settings: http://www.weinr...

Formatting non graphed text question
http://www.weinraub.net/images/cacti_weather.png I have a weather graph that graphs the temperatures, but I also want to see the text of the other items that aren't graphing. However, the formatting looks like garbage. Ideally I like to have a blank line after the three graphed elements and the oth...

Re: Interface Graphing Doesn't Work
Well, I somehow fixed it. Soon as I changed snmp to v2, on the query and added in /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf and restarted the daemon it started to work so yay me

Re: Interface Graphing Doesn't Work
Okay... On one of my servers I get this: root@weinraub:~# snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1 On my other servers, I get this: [jweinraub@intranet:~]$ snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1 IF-MIB::ifIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1 IF-MIB::ifIndex.2 = INTEGER: 2 IF-MIB::ifInd...

Re: Interface Graphing Doesn't Work
Okay, I manually ran the rrdcreate and I am passed that problem. SNMP is definitely working but I am guessing that index value is causing it to not graph/get all NaN. I also removed the apt-get method of installing Cacti and installed it the normal way by wget and tar and setup manually - the way I ...

Interface Graphing Doesn't Work
I installed cacti via apt-get on my Debian box. All of the localhost graphs work, but when I added the one for interface, it doesn't saying the rra file isn't there. I am not sure why it didn't make it. When I query the snmp I get nothing good: + Running data query [1]. + Found type = '3' [SNMP Quer...

Re: Graphing snmp data from multiple hosts on same graph
Right, I did that too to make my own graph using a/b for the two rrds on the command line, but in the cacti front end, how to i give it this information? that came from the debug mode, and i copied pasted into vi, added the new definition to test it, and lo and behold that worked, but i cannot get C...

Re: Graphing snmp data from multiple hosts on same graph
But how? I edit graph template, add new data source, but it doesn't imply host itself, so i get invalid graphic error, b/c it doesn't add the def:b for the second host, so it doesn't know what to do with the line.

Re: Graphing snmp data from multiple hosts on same graph
Anybody? If I can do it from command line, why can I not add a second host rrd from Cacti itself? Am I missing something?
