Likely cause you are on a RHEL8+ variant where you have to also restart php-fpo.
Well I am on Gentoo and I restarted php-fpm (not sure if you mistyped)
Anyway, guess it must have been some service that was still in memory and not restarted as the reboot fixed it. Just hope it might help others.

This is really odd, I ran into same issue trying update to 1.2.21 (from 1.2.19) and phpinfo on the same host showed the timezone correct but cacti continued to complain it not being set. Also Apache restart didn't made difference. Only a reboot of the server helped.

by chance do you have a device set to UDP ping ?
maybe trace the dest IP and check the IP in cacti and track down the device in the device tab
As I wrote in my post that device is configured as "Ping or SNMP Uptime" with ping method "ICMP Ping"

Hi All, just saw on my firewall that Cacti is during it's 5 minute poller run sending a request on UDP 23. What is causing that? For "down detection" I have configured "Ping or SNMP Uptime" and ping method "ICMP Ping" As data queries I only have SNMP queries. Cheers Faser

Hi Gandalf,
I just got a SSR8000 and a XSR-3150 into SNMP reachability.
What would you need?
Basically the Information of the MIBs are all on the Enterasys webpage.
Cheers
