I think you need to form an SNMP-query and get the CATV/RF interface index #'s; the OIDs for SNR and other statistics are based off of that same index that you would use for Ethernet traffic if I am not mistaken. I'm looking at doing a template for all DOCSIS CMTSes and you would simply check which ...

I'm already sorta doing the same thing, except all I've done is made 4 generic SNMP OID templates. Then have a graphing template pull them all together. hmm, interesting. Only reason I made mine bar graphs is because I'm too much of a newbie to know CDEFs and RRD worth a salt at the moment. ;) I'm ...

Are you using SNMP v2c? 64-bit counters don't work w/SNMP v1.

CSV export /

What happened to this feature request? :)

Is there a third-party add-on that supports 0.8.6/0.8.6a now?

What I'm trying to do is find moments where certain interfaces exceeded a certain amount of bandwidth (i.e. peak times) over several months of data.

Perhaps a silly question, but do the graphs actually still exist, under Graph Management? :) (i.e. maybe they got erased during your upgrade process somehow) I had some finicky issues w/versions prior to 0.8.5 regarding graph tree editing, but things have bene solid for me on 0.8.5+ I thought I had ...

Wasn't aware that cacti's graph tree editing was broken -- elaborate? :( I'm not sure which product came first or even which product is superior, but they do say that emulation is the highest form of flattery (both seem to be from as early as ~2001 though). :) Looks like they do have a C++ poller fo...

Things tend to start looking generic in the PHP-driven world, I'll give ya that. Take phpNuke and all of its clones/derivitives for instance, and the websites that use them. :) NetMRG seems to take on a lot of the same functionality of cacti, but doesn't looks quite as good and I don't think their p...

The right way to fix it is to use SNMP v2c (a requirement), and 64-bit counters.

You may run into a snag where you device may or may not support SNMP v2c and/or 64-bit counters... but hopefully not.

And the IP address, for that matter. hehe This was mainly designed for the System/Network Admin types at the other side of the equation, but some modems have an internal 192.168.100.1 IP address. You could try that with a community string of "public", and that might work -- but doubtful if...

I've had this happen w/the 0.8.6a pre-release, except it was only with Data Source Items not with entire templates missing.

What are your software versions?
