Hi Cactu was working but no nop ... checked rra directory and files not updated since the time stamp is not changed and cacti shows nothing ... tried an snmpget and gets values ... tried debug on one of my graphs and gets rrrtool says OK looks in cacti.log and the log file is not updated ... put ech...

Hi Now i get no data to cacti I run the line from cacti directory php -q poller.sh and it does not complains but on the other hand the rrd directory with all my rrd files is not updated ... did an snmpget from that node and i get an answer looks in poller.log and it does not tell me anything except ...

the string in /etc/cron.d/cacti is the following
*/5 * * * * php /var/www/cacti/poller.php >/var/www/cacti/log/poller.php 2>&1

nothing else if i add cacti before php that i gett error output ...


what is wrong ...

should i have this string in root crontab or as my user name ...

Now i get no poller by crontab and still it complains that the directory or file exists, i made it and set the properties according to the cacti log file ...

Hi in whar crontab do i suppose to put the crontab string ???i loggin as root and crontab -e to add that string in that crontab ... the file cacti do not respond in any way as mentioned in the document about Nan ... maybe this is to basics but i have my doubts about where to put that comand to run e...

Hi All my graphs, have values but the graphs shows correct value but sometimes 0 that is true since cisco reports 0 some times but still i like the graph to make an average. Hi

The most basic routers that our clients have do not support SNMP as far as i can se and i use to ping them to see if they are alive. :roll:

How do i monitor when only ping will work or can it work by looking at an certain port on the linksys routers ???

how do i clear the cacti log from the interface ?
