MIB looking good!

Judging by the MIB it has some additional information that I like. Again, thanks for pointing it out to me... Will take this further for the release after version 0.6.... Let me finish the current documentation and then I'll get started on that one. I'm hoping to churn out a new ApacheStats release ...

mod_snmp

Hello Paul: I've taken a look at the mod_snmp module. Looks good, except that it doesn't work for Apache 2 and up. I contacted the author and he wasn't really enthusiastic to work on updating it to a newer version. That was more than a year ago, so I don't know whether Harrie has changed his mind......

Preview of 0.6

Hello folks: For those that are interested, I've been rebuilding ApacheStats for the next release 0.6. Major Changes are: - Two new graphs - CPU Utilisation and the Thread Scoreboard (see below) - Results caching - It re-uses data from first query - truly only a single query to the target webserver ...

ApacheStats gets its own homepage:

Hello All: First off, I just want to say to everyone that has asked, answered or contributed - a BIG THANK YOU :D ! This has been a collaborative work, and it's been quite amazing how this little script has grown from being actually something very simple. In order to make this scale in the future, a...

Remote netstat

Here we go! This works on my system, although I've had to make some configuration changes to apache. First the web page which I created as: /var/www/html/web-netstat/index.shtml (where /var/www/html/ is my normal web documentroot) Note that it is "shtml", which means that the server will c...

Sorry for delay..

Hi folks - sorry for the delay! I've been on my back for a few days with flu. In brief - here are some ideas for some questions given: 1. To add ports, you will unfortunately have to do a sizeable amount of configuration work. The script is generic and can accept a list of ports on the command line ...

Try this perl version

Stef: You're probably in the same time zone as myself (I'm in South Africa - GMT+2), so I can see that your early morning posts are really early (or late - whichever way one wants to see it). I've rewritten most of the script into perl - it should be more compatible with your system. Perl is in any ...

I've just written one:

testest

I've just released a tool that does some or perhaps all of what you're looking for.

In this forum you should find SocketStats-0.1

Good luck
Rolf.

Thanks !

Testtest: You're welcome! Actually I'd been stalling on releasing 0.3 for a few months - been very busy with "real" (i.e. the stuff that pays the bills) work. I realised that part of the problem was my sucky understanding of cacti templates and that the ones released with 0.2 weren't worki...

[XML] ApacheStats version 0.4

Hello Everyone! After numerous bugs and simplifications, I thought it would be prudent to put out a newer release of apachestats. It now uses LWP by default to keep things simple, but a high-speed version is also provided. The templates have been cleaned up significantly, and there is a new graph fo...

Grrr... Let's see whether this works:

Alan: I've found that it seems to have much less to do with whether the allow clauses are on separate lines (they actually can be), but that the <Location /server-status> directory will match only for queries to whatever your ServerName is set to. So that may explain why it works for testtest and no...
