Was wondering why FAAH took about 37 hrs to complete a work unit. Reading other threads I discovered it was because of the throttle control. Here is more info.
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=cpuuse#230 I downloaded the control & found I was only running at 25% (default) so increased it to 100%. You can set it anywhere from 25 to 100%. |

Actually the default is 60%, but if u crunch with UD agent on a dual core machine, it may appear in your Taskmanager as 25-30%. If switching from UD agent to BOINC....there is a post on how to transition, u can use both cores .....than u will be blazing at 200%!
