Bill. Thanks, Oz. I am working very HARD on this project. This is a great idea and I will support it to the best of my limited ability. Suggestions from you, on how, might help. Please add a link to any pages or 'sig' files you have. If you have a website, you might want to use one of the images I provide on www.2plus2is4.com ![]() In return, a little less U.S. specific and more global citizen focus in the wording could be friendlier imho. i.e. The main text could be entirely global with "a word to the U.S. citizen" and "Arkansas" as a didtinctly unique paragraph, toward the end. trying to be constructive, please ignore all suggestions without guilt. Thanks. I have done a LITTLE bit of editing, such as replacing "our nation and the world" with just "the world". I'll continue to look at this as time permits and see how I can improve it. I just want everyone to understand that I am starting out with very active lobbying in my home state -- Arkansas -- within the U.S. , and therefore want to appeal to their sense of obligation to our "state" and "nation" as much as possible as a 'sales' pitch, so to speak. I don't mean to imply anything about other states or nations, and hope that this will eventually help internationally, as well. My strategy is to focus on ARKANSAS where I have the ability to personally visiit legislators, etc., and then if we can make some headway here, use it as an example elsewhere. Moreover, for all I know, grid-computing is already included in curriculums in other places; all I know about is my local school, and I am PRESUMING that it is not taught about in other schools throughout Arkansas, the U.S., and PROBABLY the world. What progress we could make in recruitment if it were otherwise!!!!![]() I did not read your thread earlier because I thought it was just another team recruitment promo. Please consider edoiting the heading yet again. Let me see what I can do. I think I'm on the verge of annoying or bothering people, though. BUT ... it's for a great cause, isn't it?Have just asked the WCG if it is possible to get a link to my project on their home page, and am working on other prospects, as well. I'm contacting IBM right now. Thanks for your feedback. WE WILL MAKE THIS WORK! Cheers. Bill Velek |

Hi David
Before I go out, Are there flyers, or some literature I can print out. I have friends with lots of CPU power, and they are gaming, but nothing after hours. I have referred them to the WCG website. But, you know, something they can sink their eyes into helps! |

mmmm
----------------------------------------now there's a thing after our discussions re PDF's last week I don't think we have anything like that to my knowledge. Good idea 7cures. You can always leave flyers lying around littering up teh place but for a good cause. A handful down at the Doctor's or Dentists wouldn't go amiss or maybe even with the rest of the flyers at the back of Church. I could leave some on the London Underground people are always looking for something to distract them from being treated like a Sardine. If someone could slow down the earths rotation so days are longer or come up with a miracle drug so I don't need quite as many ZZzz's I would do it. Already not enough hours in the day and weekends are way too short these days Any volunteers? ![]() |
