Nice to see so many people in the team. More then half of whom I have no idea who you are. Would people like to state where they are in the World and how they found out about WCG, or who invited them?
I'm in Middlesbrough in the UK. I found out about WCG through my friend Temporo. I joined his team and got both my machines chugging away. Saves heating bill  Anyone else? |

I'm from Middlesbrough in the UK too, again found out from Temporo. I actually live in the same hosue as SS.
Got my Athlon XP 2000+ kicking out blocks atm, hopefully in the new year I'll be adding an Athlon XP 3200+ to that.  |

I'm also in Middlesbrough in the UK.
I found about about the World Community Grid site from the news and thought humm, this could be a good idea, lets sign up and create a Team, and try and get other people who leave their computers on 24/7 to join. So here we are, cheers people keep it up! |

Again I found the site through Temporo, with a little prodding from SS and Mincus.

Hello all. I guess I'm the first to say hi from the US... I live in Olean, NY (near Buffalo).
----------------------------------------Like Temporo, I saw the announcement for WGC on the news and liked the idea - I had been running SETI@Home, but thought this would have a more immediate impact, so I switched over. I found out about the Team by scanning through all the group names - I didn't find anything else that really fit me, and I always leave my PC on 24/7, so here I am :) It's nice to meet everyone - keep those machines chugging! |
