The Northern Hemisphere is in full swing again, even Italy, and yet again a Tuesday record has not happened with 136.3 years..... when will we break the 05/16/2006 record of 138:335:20:34:23 / 35,205,208 pnts / 142,895 units, ......your guess as good as mine........maybe, maybe a little save and flush......take in some extra jobs in your work buffer of BOINC or with UD monitor and hold off.......we can do it and make October 3 a real All Unity day!

I know this question will sound silly but it wont be the first or last time for me.
 When should the results be sent in? Are the Tuesday results the ones validated on the Monday but credited in the 00:06 major update Tuesday or the ones validated Tuesday and credited at 00:06 Wednesday? Cheers. ozylynx |

ozylynx, no question is silly, stupid, naive, dumb ....there's always a first for everything and lots lost in translation on a forum visited by many many different language and cultural backgrounds.
----------------------------------------Anything validated between 00:06 UTC and 00:05:59 UTC next day. The validators take a a few scheduled breaks daily, but generally, they are done up to the moment before the close of the Big daily statistics. For this record 'search', it would thus be between Tuesday 00:06 UTC (momentarily 02:06 CET) and Wednesday 00:05:59 UTC, goes towards October 3. ciao

While the stats run starts at 00:06, as far as I know it calculates statistics validated the previous day - midnight to midnight exactly.

We are hovering just below the 50000 PC's per day mark
----------------------------------------Backing up what Didactylos has said that's why we have the 228 "spillover" on the stats today as those 228 days are completed in the few minutes after midnight before the stats run commences We do a days worth of number crunching in just 1.73 seconds  I've double checked and triple checked that figure because it seemed so amazing  But the 228 days stacks up to about 6 1/2 mins of crunching on the WCG !!!!!!!!!!! and one more for effect ! Sorry, yes forgot all about that funny stat entry one only sees between the the midnight and 06:06 UTC global stat runs.....1 day per 1.73 seconds....mind boggling. A wee while ago the midnight run did not happen and even then we did not break the daily record (summer break).
