confused Grid Agent Technology?

Hello again,

Since I am doing a research on different grid technologies worldwide, I have many questions regarding the underlying technology of the grid agent provided by United Devices. I have tried searching for information on the grid architecture, framework, infrastructure, middleware, etc. that is used in WCG's grid projects but I can't seem to get anything so far. I've been to United Devices' website and it did not mention (or publish) on how they build a grid, or how did they develop their client software (grid agent), and so on. Can anyone provide me a pointer on where to "start" searching in the "right" places for the information that I require above? Thank you thank you... smile

Re: Grid Agent Technology?

The UD system is proprietary. Don't expect to find much useful information in the public domain. You could ask United Devices directly, but they will probably ignore you.

Re: Grid Agent Technology?

Oh I see... That's what I thought so too at the first place. Hmm...I guess I can only do a research on open-source grid technologies. United Devices seems to be very good with what they do (their technology, etc.), that is why I chose to expand my research on them. I'll try to write to them, if that doesn't work then it's alright... thank you Didactylos! wink
