News from the Home Front!
----------------------------------------Heard from Dave Bell today. He says hi to all. Basically, he's still recovering from the earlier fall that broke the incision and the infection that followed. It's difficult for him to type or hold things very long because of nerve problems caused by a past medication so it's not easy responding to emails or calls. He thinks he'll get out first part of the year if things go well from this point. Nice and warm here in CA too Its getting cold here in Virginia---spikey_richey what kind of work do you It's hot again here in CA, 91 yesterday. My role is very varied, but primarily I'm the instrument repair facility manager for www.ces-landtec.com - we distribute landfill gas analysers manufactured by my old employer in the UK (who we've just bought out, so I got to wave my old MD goodbye ) |

Our Veterans Day is called Remembrance Day. It used to be Armistice Day (11 November) but I believe the name was changed after WW2. It is usually marked on the second Sunday in November by church services and wreath-laying at local and national cenotaphs.
