I'm having some success in my fight against Spam

I was using Spamfighter but I've changed to Firetrust's Mailwasher Pro and it's working!

Free trial here http://www.firetrust.com/

Using on mail server deleting, bouncing and reporting to Spam Cop the amount of spam I receive on the server has fallen from 190 Emails/day to 45 and none are getting through Mailwasher into outlook.

It works and I've had only one false positive in over a month and this was painlessly restored by the system.

This is not an advert just a personal recommendation in the fight against a plague that affects us all. It's nice to be positive about a product for a change

(Note to Sekerob I'll be inundated by Spam as soon as I mention this on the forum biggrin)

my email address again it's d..................

wink

Re: I'm having some success in my fight against Spam

Hi vavega it's the perils of domain name registration

I have a number in my name and I'm sure they just screen scrape from whois.org most are addressed to accounts@xxyyzz.com.

It's just one of the downsides of getting noticed

Mailwasher's doing a grand job

I'd say it was making a difference biggrin

my email address again it's d..................avdidag@dud.tbt
an Aussie was caught on Thursday.....spammed 2 Billion messages via servers in Holland....the guy who was gate-waying in NL had a suspended sentence, which he's now commencing shortly.

@ Vavega, great tip, moreover, can run as an FFX extension..... some caution
Important

NB: jetable.org IS NOT an anonymous email service: email headers are not modified and we keep the logs of this service.
