Captain of GED team seems to be missing in action! Thank the good lord for JC, Ady, 7cures and Orakk for all the wonderful cheers! and stories of poor friends who are wet with kola water! Life goes on, our son-in-law's sister has CF and was finally called to have a lung transplant. She gets there in the designated amount of time but they won't do the transplant because she has an elevated white blood count. Very hard for her to prepare herself for a surgery of this type and then have it be a "no go". But we just hope it was for the best ... and the lungs went to someone who was not as good a match but was in worse condition. Another reason we all crunch .... in the hope that science will continue to march on and find better cures for our friends and loved ones that are in medical need.
