Special news bulletin for the Xtremists: Read up on the limits... they are different from a little while back:
----------------------------------------10 per transmission, per 10 minutes, 30 per core per day up to 16 cores = 480 limit per device!!!!!!!!!!! That cant be infuriating, but u have to stay connected to maintain flow if a machine can do 480. Set the key times like 09:00-12:00 for Wednesdays and Sundays to not be connected (can be done in a future BOINC version on a week-daily basis) HPF2...i don't think you will be able to set the crunching time like Rosetta. The distribution, though 1 per machine, no quorum, they are pooled in groups of 25 and quality checked from the 15th in the pool returned from which point, credits will be computed and awarded. This is subject to change, but since you guys so little interact visibly with WCG, thought i give U a 1 up..... all with the good of WCG in mind :D PS This 16 cores is the new default profile. WCG knows how much there really are when communicating. Update the profile if not already done!

Time to bump this thread a bit and while I'm here, I'll toot our own horn a bit:
----------------------------------------Tonight XS will break 200,000,000 points and by tomorrow this time should be in the #5 position for teams. Also almost 580,000 results returned in this timeframe. Not bad for a "motley crue" of 200 guys spread all over the world who didn't get into this in strength till the end of August 2006. Less than 6 months to 200 million! People wonder why I am on a team where the average age is less than 1/2 of mine. These people don't talk, they do and I'm honored to be with them.
