we are making our move up the ladder. we have the top spots in our sites. we are building our new machine. sites or sights?  Nice start. Over half a mega point a day is pretty good stuff... But can you keep it up?  Thanks! That is a rather pointed question!  But, in answer to it, yes. It will probably even grow some more, too.  We plan on moving up a few spots. Primarily though, the peeps crunching on XS~WCG have had their lives and families touched by Cancer and other diseases, in one way or another, and we just want to do what we can to help fight that. However, I gotta admit the competition ( and banter ) sure is a nice side benefit and draw. :) We are definitely trying to kick some azz and take names! Cheers, Scott |

WOW!!! What a performance. Welcome to WCG. I've listed your team as a threat to our goal of making it into the top 100 by November 21st, but I think you will probably beat us by a couple of months

BUT CAN YOU BREW BEER??? Cheers. Bill Velek Actually, YES. I am an Xtreme Systems member (small one) and am also a member of the Upstate New York Home Brewers Association. I also made a nice white wine that I put on CO2 and serves as champaigne (sic) at my wedding. It won an honorable mention at an Upstate NY judging. So yeah, we can brew beer! And meade too! |

I also made a nice white wine that I put on CO2 and serves as champaigne (sic) at my wedding. It won an honorable mention at an Upstate NY judging. So yeah, we can brew beer! And meade too! I've never made a meade, but I just made 10 gallons of wine a couple of months ago; I used watermelon juice as a base, and used raisins and sugar in one 5-gallon batch, and sugar plus a lot of mixed fruits (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, peaches, etc. that I had to get rid of from my freezer) -- in another 5-gallon batch I call 'Sangria' -- and it is remarkably good after just a couple of months. The raisin-watermelon is drinkable, but not very good, so I hope it will improve with age. Since you're a beer brewer, you need to check out my Brewing Equipment Yahoo Group; I started it on 10/21/05, and we now have 430 members. Cheers, and good luck with your brewing and your team.
