Ive been running this almost 12 hrs aon 2 diff pcs and ive yet to see anything come from it, is there like a 24hr time delay or something to that point, Im used to rosetta where it showed points about every 4-6 hrs
Ive already finished quite a few wu's and still no creds.. What am i doing wrong? BTW my names Philosophy and I fold for Xtremesystems on boinc.. |

Look at My Grid - Device Manager - Results Status. Points are not awarded until a result is validated by a quorum of 3.

Welcome Philosophy.
Lawrence is right and there is a considerable delay after the points are awarded by WCG before they show up in BOINC. On that subject, does anyone know what time of day BOINC stats are updated? Seems like only once per day? Cheers ozylynx  |

User stats are updated every six hours. Team stats once a day. Details on times are at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2024

Keith, Yeah I had those times but the Boinc stats are different I think, or at least they seem to be on casual observation.

So much information on this forum, yet no one seems to see it.
----------------------------------------1. Click on the specific WU name in the Results Status of WCG and it will tell u details for each that is in the initial 3 copies (or more if there were reported errors or inconclusives). There are about 9 status conditions, which u can find in the Starting for Beginners section post: Results Status page - what does xyz status mean? 2. BOINC stats, u mean the once run by e.g. http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_team_stats.php?pr=bo&st=0 They are updated as it was put by a member here as 'running a live of their own'. There are quite a few independent BOINC stat aggregators. The BOINC stat in the Firefox addon for WCG updates instantaneous, for the global stats about twice a day......others might do it more or less frequent. Signed, TGIF

What is the status shown for this work unit you mention? Status is "valid" It was added to the BOINC stats sometime between my last post and 0900 UTC. The BOINCStats site (like many other stats sites) pull their stats from WCG daily. For the latest stats, you will have to use the WCG site.
If you prefer the convenience of something like BOINCstats, then you will have to live with a little delay. |
