I have been using BOINC for over a year now for SETI@home. Now I would like to get my computer working for the cancer research project too. I just can't get my BOINC program to attach itself to the project. I have tried it several times copying and pasting the project URL and the account key to the BOINC "attach to project" window, but everytime I get a message saying "Failed to attach to project".
I have checked that the account key is correct, as is the URL too, but still it fails. What could be the problem? I'm using Windows XP and the BOINC version is 5.2.13. |

Hi Marjo_J77 and welcome to the most noble of Grid Computing Projects...."Help Defeat Cancer". To make your life easier, may i porpose u upgrade to BOINC 5.4.11. Then, adding projects is simply URL, ID+Password.
