I have some problem that I dont know how to solve. I'm guessing that some ports are closed on firewall in company or something is changed few days ago because every thing was ok before that for quite a long time.
----------------------------------------I got the message on UD client "Receiving 3736 of 3736 byts" and after that error saying something about can't connect to the server. Now is there some file that could have been deleted or maybe some ping command for me to check whats going on. Connection to the internet is working ( if you can read this :-) ). |

Hello =PiA=,
Normally the 3736 bytes is a hand shake. Terminating there usually means that you do not meet project minimum requirements: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq The quickest work around is to install BOINC: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php If that works, then uninstall the UD client: http://www.unofficialworldcommunitygrid.com/toboinc.html Lawrence |

Thank you, Lawrence! I had to make a new Device Profile since my laptop meets the higher RAM requirements for the Cancer project but my other computers do not. Now, I have my "High RAM" profile set to work on only the Cancer project while the default profile works on all the others. |
