computer overcommitted?

Hello,

I am running boinc 5.2.13 on a dual CPU machine under Linux. Recently, I have encountered the following problem - although boinc seems to work on two processes, one of them doesnt get done, the percentage stays the same (I dont how it could get to non zero value).
The other process is runnig just fine, and if I suspend it, then instead of working on the 1st one, boinc start downloading yet another job.
If I reatsrt boinc client, then it gives the following messages:
2006-07-24 10:20:21 [---] Suspending work fetch because computer is overcommitted.
2006-07-24 10:20:21 [---] Using earliest-deadline-first scheduling because computer is overcommitted.
Even if I restart the computer and start boinc again, although it doesnt give me this "computer overcommitted message", it still shows that only one CPU is running at a 100% and one of the boinc jobs is stuck (currently at 85.71% and has been like that for 1 day already).
Any idea what is happening? Thank you.

Renat.

Re: computer overcommitted?

Hello potsik,
My first question is - which project has a 'stuck' work unit?

If it is HPF2, then use Dagorath's Definitive Guide to HPF2 Dumping ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=7876#64047 ) and terminate it.
