Like Ying and Yang, we have our moments we cant get enough of the visual stimuli, but also times where we just want a white sheet with black letters, or corporate blue as psychologists have determined...... For those using Firefox there is the RIP extension (add-on in v 2.0 new speak). "Remove it Permanently" permits to right click a picture of many types and sizes that repeat time and again including those that are actually pulled across the web from some other site slowing things down. Applied to e.g. some of the very large signatures members are using and selecting "similar to this picture on this domain" will for ever protect your bandwidth and speed up the rendering of many a thread on this forum (and elsewhere).

Adblock/Adblock+/Adblock Filter.G do a good job at this too, but not with the same finesse.

PS Some will look for a feature to suppress posts from certain members....that's not on offer yet
