Apparently there's a thread about one of the servers being down. Didn't seem to affect me as I'm 30% into an Aids that mine picked up this morning. But a bunch of teams reporting their crunchers slowly grinding to a halt as they fail to upload.

I'm at 42% so don't know if I'll report in before midnight
 Is it just me or does dirty laundry seem to breed while one is sick? I could swear I only had one load a few days ago.  Now I've done 4 loads and still have 2 hampers full  |

Is it just me or does dirty laundry seem to breed while one is sick? I could swear I only had one load a few days ago. Now I've done 4 loads and still have 2 hampers full I think it was either P.J. O'Rourke or Dave Barry who came up with the theory of Atomic Laundry. You put ALL of your dirty clothes in one pile and just keep adding to it. Eventually, the sheer weight of the pile causes heat to build up in the bottom center until it reaches critical mass, thereby cleansing the clothes there. You simply reach in and pull out the articles that have been in there the longest. O'Rourke used this system while in college. He had trouble getting dates for some reason. Looks like I got caught with the servers down too. Do I look good in pink?
----------------------------------------As for laundry, I would like to know if anyone has discovered where the single sock goes? My theory is that there must be a wormhole inside of the dryer, and occasionally one goes to a parallel universe. I'll bet the guy on the other end of the wormhole is always asking, "Where do these extra socks keep coming from?"   |
