Re: Continue to get Agent paused message

HPF2 has higher minimum system requirements than HPF1. You need at least 250 MB of physical memory.

See the announcement for further details.

Re: Continue to get Agent paused message

Hello ktzya,
We are trying to get a new project started next month which we hope can run on smaller computers. Just let the client check daily with the WCG in the background. When a new project starts, your client will run it if your computer meets the minimum requirements.

Re: Continue to get Agent paused message

If you're using BOINC, then there's no need for the UD client.

Just make sure your BOINC client is attached to worldcommunitygrid.org, and everything should go swimmingly.

Re: Continue to get Agent paused message

Does NOT.... if the member opted out of FAAH and only worked on HPF1, the policy is to only in default add all new projects to all member profiles. If it then comes out that HPF2 cannot fit into the individual clients box, there occurs a Paused/Standby situation.

Re: Continue to get Agent paused message

Almost same as me. My PC starage size is 192MB (64+128) then add 64 = 256MB. After that, It seems working .

I came back from a few days out of town to see what happened. The overall project profile (as used for BOINC) opted-in HPF2. The UD interface device profiles did NOT opt-in HPF2 and left the check mark (tick mark) empty.

Since HPF1 is finished and HPF2 has higher requirements, my smallest computer can no longer participate. I'll have to look around to see whether I can find some ancient memory I can add to it.
