5 machines only show up as 3

I have 5 machines running it, all were set up with the same user name, but the last 2 I've added (about 2 days ago) still don't show up on the web site. On the agent I get all the normal info but the other two machines.

A machine should show up in your statistics after it sends the first WU to the server AND the next batch update occurs. <dataman>

One of the two machines has returned a result. the other I'm not sure of, it's only a 400MHz with 256HB of Ram. The other is a xp 2100 with 512MB. My 2Gig pentium has returned 3 in the last two days, why would similiar machine not do the same?

Re: 5 machines only show up as 3

Tony

The time it takes to complete a work unit varries considerably. I have had them complete on a 3.0 GHz machine in as short as 3 hours to as long as 33 hours. It depends on the protein. My 2.5 GHz machine has similar results. However, one 450 MHz machine has taken as long as 76 hours to complete a work unit.

If all of your machines (that have completed a WU) do not show up in your stat's after the next batch update, I would email your question/problem to tech support. My experience is that they usually respond in about 4 hours. Thanks. <dataman>

Tony,

of the two new machines that you said is not showing up. As mentioned, only machines that has returned result will show up under 'Device Statistic'. In addition, the first time a new machine returned result, it might take additional 24 hours before it'll show up. So I would wait another day to see does that happen. (samething happened to me)

Hope this helps!
