I know many wise folk pass this way guru's in the ways of IIS6 no less.
----------------------------------------May I submit a humble request to save my sanity ![]() I have Dagorath's video podcast at the ready the xml feed is good to go but the file has a .mp4 appendage and so IIS6 won't dish it up and produces a 404 not found error MIME types you say.... I have added the mp4 mime type of video/mp4 to the server and still no joy. I have rebooted many times I have tweaked all of the tweakable I have read all the handy webpages on Google on the subject and still no joy, Superb Migraine though ![]() I know the answer is apache and all i would have to do is edit http.conf but... ----------------------------------------and again aarrgghh I had cured my own mp4 problem probably hours ago which along the way I debugged by changing the mp4 filename into mp3 and it presented it I thought I had changed it back Just off to kick my small dog who goes by the name of Penny AARRGGHH again ![]() |

Yes, when you get a 404 the smart thing to do is go looking for the file and check the name. So often it's the last thing we check...
