Awesome! David Burk is my cousin. (Though I think of him as my own brother) I talked to him today about this project and about this wonderful team. :) Great to see you here bud! AWESOME IS RIGHT! You know what I was just thinking about. With EVERY new computer that you get, whether it's from Best Buy, Comp USA, Circuit City, Wal-Mart. Or even if you buy it straight online from Dell, HP, Compaq, you name it, you always get software ALREADY on your computer, pre-installed. AOL High Speed Internet, Norton Internet Security, Earthlink Setup, Netzero Installer, all of that stuff most people don't even need! If companies all over the world are doing that, why can't they pre-install something like World Community Grid? Something that will actually BENEFIT humanity, instead of putting stuff on there, knowing people are just going to go straight to their Add/Remove Programs and delete it! I think most people do not grid simply because they do not know about it. If companies were to do this, everyone in the modern day world would know about computer grids. Imagine the computer power this would generate!
I don't know, I wish someone would do this, since we all know we live in a copy cat world. One company does it, they all fall in. If only if only... |

I've had a Christian team (Christians Against Cancer) over at grid.org for a couple of years. Before that I was a member of grid.org's team Christians.
