It says my storage for this device is 2GB where the comparison device is at 5GB. I have about 140 GB of free space and was wondering how I could raise this amount to get me either better performance when folding and/or better scores when done.
----------------------------------------EDIT: I was just looking around and I remember changing my profile to use 2GB rather than 1GB in the default profile. It seems like too large of a coincidence for this not to be the answer. What will changing my profile to allow more disk space, say 5GB as the comparison device has, do?[Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 1, 2006 9:36:03 PM] |

Are you using BOINC or the United Devices client?
If you are using the UD client, then changing this setting will get you a handful more points. It has no effect on BOINC. None of the WCG projects have high disk space demands, so only a fraction of the space will actually be used. |
