Win2003 Server
I have two Win2003 servers that:-

- install to the Internet and download data
- continually stop at the "agent paused" message and popup dialog panel.

It's been like this for hours and I'm beginning to think it's an issue with Win2004

Any ideas or suggested fixes would be more than welcome.

Sorry - forget to mention these are dual-core Intel systems.

It's very likely to be a firewall issue. The default security settings in Win2003 are all set to "block".

However, since you have dual core systems, it is worth considering migrating to BOINC. BOINC can take advantage of both cores.
