Search for ' "world community grid" press release' or ' "fightAIDS@Home" press release' for what the researchers have to say. You can probably cross-reference this with news outlets that picked up the story.

For more detailed, heavyweight biology, you need to look at the previous publications by the labs. For FightAIDS, you should start by searching for AutoDock, which is the science application used by FightAIDS. Then, there are papers prior to the FightAIDS project, but they don't focus on grid technology particularly. Google Scholar should help.

This is what I have done and I have failed miserable. I'm not looking for info about the project but an actual quote from someone working on the team.
