They say they have corrected the bug with discarding units and restarting, but I am not sure about it.
I have joined this project today (28.11.), downloaded a client and it never finished any WU. I have finished 10-30% of three units, but in most cases the unit is discarded after 5 to 10 seconds. It has been running whole day and it has discarded and downloaded at least 50 units. I have uninstalled and installed the client again - no change. Once the client downloaded 4 MB of data from server - probably an update, but it didn't help. My client is still discarding units... |

You're going to have to provide some information if we're to help you figure this out.

W98 1st edition, 256 MB RAM, 850 MB free on that drive, virtual memory turned on, 256 MB (fix size) page file.
Running applications: Total commander, MSIE 5.5 (max. 3 windows, but only one program instance), antivirus, Task Scheduler, firewall. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Err... I may be wrong, but I think that the application tries to grab 300 MB of page file space on the disk, then tends not to use it (keeping something like 78 MB in RAM). If you have fixed the page file size at 256 MB, then that might be the problem.
