OK, now I get that "Out of memory" error. To get email I have to click on start and then email, instead of using the taskbar at the top of my screen. To web surf I have to go to the forum and surf from there. I just upped my memory usage to 10 GB from 1 (although that doesn't show up yet on my "comparison" page, so am I stretching things, even though I have a 60 GB hard drive?

Hello tmazanec1
Welcome to the forum. Sounds a Like memory issue to me. How much RAM do you have 128Mb may not be enough for every system. {Depending on the Operating System and other programs using memory (RAM) at the same time.} Is there allot of HD activity? And how much HD free space? Some have reported better performance buy Raising OR lowering the storage amount in device manager. If the trouble started when you changed from 1Gb, you may want to try another storage size. In my case I set the amount to 10Mb instead of 10Gb! That put it all haywire. I fixed it after seeing another poor soul post the same mistake. LOL Keep us informed! Join "USA" Robert |
