 It's nice to be back! Glad to see the group doig so, so well. After some security updates my little cruncher is benching at 110, and I'm finishing a unit every two to three days. Finally made it over 7,00 points last week! Hey Johnny!  Hello 7cures (great Board name, BTW)! You are "representative" of all that is great in Distributive Computing. You crunch while you can. Who could ask for more? I see that you have returned 20 Results. Who knows, maybe one of those Results Returned will be the one that helps us all find a cure or two. And yes, thanks for posting!  Looking for a cure. Join us! Andrax: a term that means a total annihilation of a disease. |

I just posted on another thread, replying to a cruncher's frustrating efforts to enlist new members, primarily because of security concerns. So, one thing I suggested, is that they come here, and get some advice from some of you. Experience speaking, that sort of thing! |

Hola Everyone
Looks like there's been some serious crunching going whilst I've been enjoying the sun. Congrats to everyone for getting into the Top 100. Great Stuff - Let's get in to the Top 75 by Christmas !!!!! (I'm sorry, but I won't have any of that 'Happy Holidays' cr*p) JC - Whilst I had a great time with your fellow countrymen and ladies at Thanksgiving (Never had 'Blueberry Sauce' with my turkey before  ), You've not missed out too much on the weather - I actually had to wear long trousers one night !!!!!  JM - WOW !!!! Those figures are pretty impressive. The Slugettes are going to have to pull their fingers (or is that tails) out. Noticed you mentioned to Chowbow that you're in London. Not in London at the moment but expect to be there sometime in the next week or two - will send you a PM when I know. Looks like I'll be buying the beers at the moment !  The worse thing is, I've upgraded the slugettes and performance hasn't changed a great deal. (At least I can run all of the projects now without the users suffering performance issues)Need to search a few a hedgerows for new crunchers! Slightly disapointed Slug |
