What Jan posted!

Competition between fellow Team Mates or even other Teams brings out the best of us. The more we *all *crunch, benefits us *all* on this tiny planet called Earth. We are looking for Cures. It's that simple.

What?? ... 118,202 points today?? crying Where is our white flag? More importantly, where are you getting all your muscle? Are you giving out steroids over there? biggrin Well, at least we'll make it to #104 before you, and with a little luck, maybe #103. I was really hoping that it would be a closer race, coming right down to the wire. That would have been fun, but now it'll be over in about 4 or 5 days. sad

Congratulations on some SUPER crunching. It's pretty clear that you'll win this. You've got a great team.

Cheers.

JM - Top crunching yesterday !

Looks like I'm going to stuck with 'Apple' pie at this rate, but I'll have to keep an eye on Dick otherwise it's going to be thin slices of 'Blueberry' instead sad

Might have to tell my boss that we need to upgrade all of our PCs to duos!

Slug,

So, will we get a consolation prize? ... like maybe a plug on your Andrax.net Forums for 'Project 2plus2is4'? I know I'm being persistent about that, but until it fails I'll remain convinced that it is one of our best prospects for significantly increasing participation in ALL grid projects. If successful, it could possibly speed recruitment ten-fold or more, easily. So, Johnny Cool, will you consider placing a link on your website for me. Please note that 'Project 2plus2is4' completely neutral -- it's really my personal project rather than a team effort, plus no team is identified. And also note that I have also changed my sig file so that I can post in various team threads without being accused of anything improper; I'm starting to make the rounds, beginning at the top of the list. biggrin ... and we'll see if THAT helps. Basically, nearly everyone has blown me off on this. I don't know if they haven't bothered to read my webpage, or if they just don't think it will work or just don't care. But I'm telling you that it just makes sense, and with enough people behind this, we can succeed; we really need to get some media attention, but I want to wait to see if we can get a bill sponsored first. I've already spoken with several Arkansas legislators who had never heard of grid-computing and said they will look into it. And I'm working on trying to get an endorsement from the U.S. Dept. of Education. Whatever you and your team can do to help spread the word about this project will be greatly appreciated. Our team rivalry is fun, but my project is some serious stuff.

Cheers.

Bill - to use your Start Trek analogy - this appears to be the old Romulan cloaking ruse. In what appears to be neutral territory, anyone entering finds themselves surrounding by Cloaked Birds of Prey, with surrender or joining the Homebrewers the only option. Don't think any of us will be falling for that devilish

Seriously, a link would be a good idea JC. More crunching is a *good* thing. wink
