Hi there,
I've searched the forum for a proplem I have. Days ago I've installed the agent on my computer ( AMD Sempron 2600+ / OC from 1.6 GHz to 1.8 GHz / 1024 MB of PC3200 DD-RAM / Windows 2000 SP 4 ) and got work units only for FAAH. I've cheked both projects for the same device, because I thought, that the agent or server will cycle the work units between both projects. I want my computer to work on both projects. Now I wanna know, if its like I thought or if I have to setup another computer, because one device can only work for one project?! Thanks WulfKnight - Germany |

Don't worry, there is just more FAAH work available at the moment.
World Community Grid handle the load balancing, and so long as there are plenty of volunteers for all the projects, work can be allocated to get it all done efficiently. HPF is now at the end of phase 1 and the beginning of phase 2. We're expecting some sort of announcement soon. |

Ah ok. Than it's ok, so it is so as I thought.
I've tried to find more people, helping this projects, but the most said, that they want their eMule or eDonkey running, not such a useless screensaver. I tried to explain what it is, what this two projects are represent, but they don't want to listen  One came to me and said, that IBM is nearly ruined, and they only give their name to this projects, because IBM's name can't be more destroyed than it is They don't have any brain in their head I think. And such people I thought, were my friends But some will take a part of it, I hope so. Thanks for that quick answer. WK |

wcg does not interfere with download/upload speeds; only the few seconds when it is receiving a new unit or sending results.

I told them the same, but they didn't want to listen
 Whatever, 2 of my real friends joined wcg and I know, that others will join too. Also some of my American friends  WCG is important for me, because I've a high risk of getting cancer I've no money to spend or time to help the German AIDS Foundation, so I can help in another way  |
