How is Dave getting along? Have we had an update lately? In the meantime, I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break Hi MattDave is only allowed 15 minutes of Internet time per day while in the Hospital He is probably, quite wisely using it to correspond with his children Maybe he will find a spare moment this week to update us all on his progress  In any event, I am sure he is in all our prayers |

Hi folks --
I'm just not getting down here to the PC lab a whole lot. Things are just going along. I probably won't know much about how they are going for a couple more weeks. I am getting 7 treatments a day of IV antibiotics. I haven't run a fever for some time, so that is a good indication. Not sure how it is going with my foot. I haven't had x-rays done of it for a couple of weeks. Today marks a full four weeks since I checked in. My sister and her husband drove here from Charlotte, NC, on Easter and brought in Chinese food for me for lunch. It was a great change from the hospital fare and nice to have a visit with them. I keep in touch with my sons almost daily. I am looking forward to getting back home in a couple weeks when I hope to get out. I am not sure where we go if the infection is still present in my foot. Probably a few weeks more on anitibiotics by pill before I might have to have an amputation if that doesn't work. I just checked and it looks like my PC's at home are still crunching for us. When my son visited two weeks ago, he found I had had a power hit and had to re-boot them for me. Hope they stay up until I get home. |

 Good news that you are improving and I'm sure that your foot will recover in time. It is a sign of your dedication that at a time like this, you are still concerned about your crunching - I'm sure such selflessness will be rewarded Ady  |

Both of my PCs are off and packed away, and I'm having to use my grandfathers P2 400 to post this  I hope everyone has a good couple of weeks, and I'm more than sure Graham will look after you all. Congrats Graham!  It always feels good to pass personal milestones, regardless of what they are  I've been trying to get past 20K for ages for my 'Home' team - then just when I go camping it happens for another team  Oh well, I'm just gonna have to crunch harder when I get back LOOKING AT YOUR POINTS ADYWEBB I WOULD SAY YOUR DOING A GREAT JOB OF CRUNCHING FOR YOUR TEAM AND THE WCG! |

Dave, as always it's great to hear from you! Nice to know that things are slowly improving! Stay upbeat and things will work out. Can't wait to see you back on here fulltime.
