Heya. Try this neat trick.
Get one of those hand held radios and put it near the pc while the faah project is running.
I am totally blind and I use a text to speech synthesiser, and sometimes when my text to speech program isn't running, I'll put the radio on top of the tower just to hear what it's doing.
on my p4 3.2ghz with 1gb of ram, it sounds like someone mowing the lawn.
After each run is finished, I hear a phaser type sound and then the hard disk working.
