Look at the bar graphs for what this team was doing before two weeks ago, and what they're doing now: Champlain College

This one is not doing too bad either: HRC That's weird. I guess the Team Captain, "scubadoo", wanted to try out WCG before actually commiting to it. Looks like he probably started with just one, and then suddenly added the other 515 about a week ago. Anyway, I'd bet that that's some sort of a record. How did you ever spot that one? Cheers. Not hard to spot - they kicked us out of the top 10. We need to find an extra 50 000 points per day to get safely back on track.

Somebody suddenly decided to get real serious. FANTASTIC. Here's another one: BOINC@AUSTRALIA . Cheers. Bill Velek Our recent efforts are pretty much down to one individual who has a heap of servers he can call on. From our forums - Just called in to say that I have started to convert over my Seti machines to WCG for a week or so to lift the team status in the world. I only have 4 xeons working on this at the moment but will move the rest over once seti work units dry up. Sorry what i meant to say was that I have only 4 Xeons working on it now and I will have 28x3.4 by the end of the week That is all I can spare from my low end servers. How long do you think you guys will need a hand as my interests are more along the lines of astrophysics than biological. I have a belief that this type of research should be funded by the large corporations that make huge amounts from our every day drugs. And they are the ones that are likely to benefit from any answers however small we might find here. Full disclosure: Shareholder of Pfizer Stepping down from soap box Anyway, I've passed on that his contributions have been noted, hopefully, he will keep on crunching (at least with a couple). |
