I have a 2x CPU Ultra Sparc under Solaris 10. Is there any plan to move WGrid on Sparc/Solaris ?
Thanks |

Hello Antwan,
The next platform we will support is Mac OS X. After that, we will decide what to concentrate on. mycrofth |

Nothing has been announced past Mac OS X. But I notice that BOINC runs on Windows, Linux x86, Mac OS X and Solaris/SPARC.

Hi me as well, I have a SUN Ultra Sparc 5 64 BITS ready to run it
----------------------------------------but please instead of boinc, a java launcher for install is much better than boinc because most of the time, lots of library are missing in the package and we spend to much time to look for !!! Boinc is one of this programme that works only on specific architecture and even if you have the lattest version , you will have to look for them anyway :( So the easiest way is a java launcher that include everythings, so like that you can install it and run it very fast :) Franck from France

Hi
Got an email yesterday inviting me back to WCG. I dumped XP in favor of Mac OS X 10.4. I read now that Mac OSX is next up. Please email me when you activate and I will promptly move back in. Mark |
