I was wondering if there is anyone from Birmingham UK
If so, welcome to a great cause
We are looking for all Uk Members to join the European Grid
Come and help us boost our points as we are currently 19th and would like to move further up the rankings
Looking forward to welcoming new members to our Team

Re: To all UK Members

Hi Graham, could you add a link to this post so it makes it easier to find European Grid? I wonder if this is a new DC project or a new team or do we just sign up and our results elsewhere are measured to show the overall European effort to DC projects?

GRAHAM, THIS TREAD SEEMS TO BE TURNING INTO A RECRUITMENT FOR MOT! I understand that under normal circumstances that more than one team thread was against the forum rules. "Not cricket, old boy!"

If you had taken the time to view the start date of this thread you would have realised that I started this thread back in November last year when I was a member of European Grid
You should also note that, I did not resurrect it and I resent your implication
It is not an MOT recruiting thread as you are trying to imply
I am just responding to a request for information from a current member ( see quote below )
i'm interested in joining your team, let me know if you're interested and whats required..

Would you prefer me to be rude and just ignore this members request?

Re: To all UK Members

No, I would prefer that you played by the forum rules and did your recruiting for MOT within the MOT Team thead, or are you exempt for some reason!

I have edited my reply and left this member a redirect to the MOT thread
I have not broken any rules, but as you are so concerned, I would appreciate it, if you could edit my reply to this member out of your post

Stop being a hypocrite about the rules and adhere to this one
Or are you exempt for some reason
Forum rules Please do not use World Community Grid forums for outside advertising or marketing of any kind
You have a direct link in your signature to your business website

It is a shame that you was not as quick to thank me for designing and hosting the signature banner that you are currently using, as you was for criticising me for what you consider to be an infringment of the rules sad

Edit: I see you have removed the link to comply with the rules

Re: To all UK Members

Graham

Thank you for removing you recruitment to MOT to the proper place.

I find your response rather bewildering and petty to say the least. All I did was to point out to you, as no doubt an Admin would have, that you were recruiting outside of your team thread.

As for the team banner we are currently using, I have noticed that you have admonished forum members before for thanking you for the unsolicited banners that are being used. I added the banner to my signature when requested to do so by my then Tean Captain. I assume that he thanked you for it at the time it was provided, but if it pleases you " Thank you very much for the team banner, Graham and for allowing us to use it." As to the cost I assume that you are doing this of your own free will and not being forced into doing so, but I am happy to pay you for the cost of providing this. Just let me know how much and I will send you a cheque. You have my E-mail address since you have just sent me what I consider an abusive E-mail.

As for your other remark I assume that it is linked automatically from the space provided in "My Forum Profile." As it upsets you I have edited it.

Must be a football suporter sad
