Downgraded CPU

I'm using a P4 3Ghz. When I installed the program, my CPU was rated 200. Then I increased the amount of storage from 1 to 5GB. Now my CPU is still correctly identified, but it's rated 166.

Any explanation?

Re: Downgraded CPU

That is most likely because your CPU was being used by another program at the time the WCG agent did its CPU 'benchmarking' test to provide you with a score, it will fluctuate - this is nothing out of the ordinary

Re: Downgraded CPU

Hello François,
For some reason, the first rating is usually different from the later ones. We discussed this repeatedly in the early days of the project. We never did reach a final conclusion that all accepted. After the second rating, things only change when some other process is running at the same time as the rating process, temporarily lowering your score.
