Okay, ... I know ... I keep asking these weirds questions. Take a look at team Hydra's stats and you will see that on 9/05/05, 9/27/05, and 10/31/05, that the total "run time" for each instance is just a SINGLE second, producing NO points at all, but still producing one result each time.
What's up with that? Cheers. Bill Velek |

Bill --
What a surprise -- a prosecutor that is detail oriented -- LOL. What you are seeing is indicative of work units crashing. It looks like everyone on that team has pretty much stopped processing for the World Community Grid and that one user is sometimes processing and having work units crash. |

I said: "How can a team produce "results" yet earn NO points?" Then you said: http://www.grid.org/home.htm ![]() Does that mean that grid.org doesn't give points to its members? Otherwise, I don't get it. Cheers. Bill Velek |

I'm "detailed oriented" because I'm a homebrewer!
I'm sure you also care about getting everything as precise as possible -- temperatures and weights -- when making what you always hope will be your best brew yet? I'm not saying that I worry about those things -- that would violatate the first commandment of homebrewing; I just like to pay attention to all the little details. I think sometimes the very fine points, when added all together, make the difference between mediocrity and excellence.By the way, while we're on the subject of the Hydra team, how did they manage to add a graphic to their team page? Pretty cool, and I wouldn't mind adding our HomeBrewer banner to our page. Cheers. Bill Velek |
