How can a team have 'negative' members retired?

I happened to come across the IBM Cyprus team and noticed on its stats page that its highest number of team members is 8 but that its current number of team members is 9 because it has -1 member retired. That doesn't seem to make any sense. Is it caused by someone repeatedly retiring and then rejoining, or something like that?

Thanks.

Good call, Bill!

This mystery falls in knreed's bailiwick. I will drop him a note pointing out an inconsistency in the database.

Thanks for spotting it.

I presume it was the situation in which they had been originally budgeted for a headcount of 9 and the figure didn't reflect the most recent budget cuts? biggrin Just kidding.
