Re: Have You Helped the Homeless

Gremlin2

Just use Firefox wink I never get it. Only with IE6. I think the reason lies with the fact that our graphics come from servers outside of the secure one of the WCG.

Another handy benefit of using Firefox are the team website doesn't have a hole in it around the get stats form field, its a bug in IE, you are less likely to have your browser hijacked by some online nasty, it will automatically remember your login info for the wcg, it supports RSS bookmarks and lastly it will cause Bill to improve IE7 wink

I only use IE6 for getting Microsoft Updates and absurdly my Online Banking Service will only operate under IE6biggrin

Get it from here http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ it's only a 5meg download and that's firefox complete and it loads quicker than IE6

Go on make the change (A tale about the MS Security Chief using Firefox as his browser circulates the net biggrin)

All the best
Dave

FF ROX - anyone who uses IE needs a lesson in online etiquette!!!

I'm not sure if it will have much effect, but today is the Martin Luther King holiday here in the US. Banks, schools and government offices are closed, but most businesses are not. Probably the biggest impact would come from parents taking the day off because their kids are not in school. I guess we will see soon if it has had an impact on the grid.

Ok I confess it makes me smile each time I see IBM Corporation behind us in the daily points listing. Does this make me a bad person?

Brian L Chappell has joined the ranks of those that have crunched their way to a cool 1/4 Million. Nice persistant Crunching Brian L Chappell applause

There's a queue forming just outside the 6 digit club who is going to be next?

Spikey has posted a surprisingly large total today shock

Me and Graham have sat today out by the looks of it biggrin

All of our Big Hitters are well, erm, hitting BIG - Smoking!

Gremlin2 continues his meteoric rise through the ranks again today closely followed by what_user and WARDSTAR

It does look like the Martin Luther King day has had an effect - it's looking like a weekend score across the board. Although it might be a new batch of Monster WU's - time will tell

Steady as she goes, full steam ahead
Let's Crunch

Re: smile smile smile Happy Birthday Graham smile smile smile

Happy birthday, Graham! Hope your days full of exciting surprises biggrin

Just dropping in to let everyone know that we'll be in holiday to Hong Kong as of tomorrow for about ten days. I'd leave the computers on, but my dad isn't a keen person leaving them on unattended for that long of a period.

So I'll see everyone when I get back. Congrats Brian with your 250k points too smile

Marc.

Re: Panthers lead game at the half

Hello WARDSTAR,
Went to your site to check it out. Awesome thing you and the other participants will be taking part in. I just have one little problem and I think you can help me out with. What is your money converted into american money? I hate to sound dumb, but I was trying to figure out the conversion. Just not 100% sure what the conversion would be. Please someone help.

Al --

I used this Exchange Converter. According to it, 1 British Pound = $1.77 US.
