Wotan is correct, UDMonitor will accomplish this for you. To obtain it (there is no charge for it) you can click here. Best regards, |

Also, if you run BOINC for Windows, it's simple a matter of setting the "Connect to network about every <n> days" value in your device profile. 1 or 2 is usually enough in most cases and you don't have to work thru another piece of software. It's a set and forget this way.

Thank you .
but i have a problem when the wu proccess complete ud monitor types a message Another instance of grid agent is already runing. The only way to solve that is to manualy stop grid agent and open it again. @keithhenry If i run boinc for windows is't that means tha i will loose all my points? Thank everyone for the support |

1) If you are running UDMON, in your windows start>programs>startup, you should have udmon and not the wcgagent. Having both in there will cause the message you quote.
----------------------------------------2) No, if you switch to BOINC, you will not lose any points..apart from some that you might get by completing the WCGAgent work unit that is in process when you change over. In other words, all your points from completed work units completed since you joined will stay with you and not be lost...as long as you keep the same user name. Should you change over to BOINC, I highly recommend that you do not set your server connection days over 2. |

I found a solution. The problem was that at startup i run ud.exe and not ud.exe-wcg or the bat file that is on the directory
